    Hi Sid:

Great use of flash. You have nice detail and patterns in the feathers. This egret looks as though he's hunkered down and not too happy about the temperature and wind. On my way to Gatorland in a few mins. Hoping its worth the trip.

    Marina,

You got that right. Little activity yesterday morning. Afternoon and evening was pretty good. Good luck.

Well spotted, Sid. Very nice colour details amongst the soft plumage. Wondering about a version with edges/corners dodged to create a white vignette?

Sid, this is a wonderful image. I just love the way the eye is covered by the plumage. It does look like the egret is hiding!

I love this one. The comp works great. I would frame it and hang it on my wall!

    Hi Sid

Beautiful composition and the colors on face and beak contrast with the white. Excellent way to teach composition rule of third to others, where you have placed the eye at the left upper intersection point, beak runs diagonally through the frame and the tip of the beak ending at the right lower end of the frame.

Waiting for your eagle shots from Utah.

Sid, beautiful comp. very creative. Nice work. I think this would look even better in natural light. You may not have had good light at the time, but you should try it next time.
