    Hi Bernie, I like the slightly open beak and tipped-up head pose. And while some may find the yellow leaves distracting, I think they add an interesting color contrast, however I do find that brown branch distracting and might think about banishing it.

    Bernie - I agree with Katie - I like the yellow leaves but would evict the brown branch and crop a little off the
    left. I like the pose also.:)

    Bernie - I like the bird in terms of exposure and sharpness. I agree about the brown branch being a distraction. Also between the leaves and the bird is a gray and white object. Is this the bird's tail? If so, how did it get at that angle? If not, I'd clone that away as well. I like the leaves, wish the bird was looking their direction.
