    Over time, Ive posted images of these baboon youngsters in all sorts of poses. Here is another from my series. Taken in the Kruger National Park last year Sept, in lovely early morning light.

    Canon 50D
    100-400 @ 190mm

    Exp Comp +0.33
    Hand Held from the car.

    The shadows and sidelighting are working ofr you here to give character to the little fellow. Good sharpness where needed and the BG is nicely blurred and compliments his color well.

    They make great subjects Stuart and this one is no exception, perfect timing & execution.

    I think a tighter crop would really emphasis the whole nature of the shot, but be careful not to over sharpen/lighten the eyes.;)

    This is fantastic Stu, pin sharp with great detail. Now I know why I couldnt borrow the lens, More family picture my she has grown in such a short time.:D

    Great light and color. The finger in the mouth gives this some character. Very nice.

    What great expressions baboon babies have!

    I am unsure whether I would like to see all of the body or a closer crop.

    Love the pose, light, fur- well captured, Stu. Another vote for a tad tighter crop.
