Here's a photo of a tulip I made awhile back while trying to get a handle on the Fractalius program. I showed it to a friend at work and he couldn't tell it was a tulip - thought it was just another of my abstracts so maybe I went a little too far? I love the glow that eminates from the middle of the flower, though. I applied a vignette around the top edge and sides to focus the attention on the bottom area of the flower.

Canon 40D, EF 100mm macro lens
f5.0 @ 1/40th, ISO 400
Applied Fractalius random settings if I remember correctly.

Gorgeous colors and light! I don't think you went overboard with fractilus. I would use less vignetting at the top, especially top left. I like the angle and the crop. Well done. :)
