Best so far Ken, great head on shot, nailed exposure with nice detail and good side lighting, raised paw enhances here. Taken close to sunrise/sunset?
Vertical crop would also work, taking out the left FG snow pile.

Magnificent looking animals, and just love the light and exposure in this. Comp work well, with good placement of the polar bear. Great capture Ken.

    Ken,

I would go with cropping from the right to get the bear off-center.

Beautiful shot Ken. Absolutely love it. Cropping being personal preference, I am seeing it like Robert and feel a tad off the right will be stronger. Nicely done.:)

Very nice. This looks like it was taken in some golden lighting. I agree with taking a little off the right.

Love the light and color and the raised paw. I like the horizontal crop. Mayybe just retouch the lower left corner.

Thanks everybody, your comments seem to prove that Peter's picks are very good. Selection of crop is my greatest failure!

    Dan,
I think you are right I should have taken out the mini pile of snow.
