My favorite style of photographing birds is getting to know an individual and concentrating on him or her. There are two that are coming to my backyard regularly now and I am really enjoying getting to know them.

Flickers are beautiful and your image is lit well and sharp. :)
A thought, since they are consistantly coming in, you may want to consider setting up a more appealing BG. Of course that is up to you my friend. ;)

lovely bird and detail. I would blend some of the dark patches in the BG as they draw the eye

You have lovely love here, Grace. This is really a nice underside view of this flicker, and I notice it is a yellow-shafted variety. The BG on your last flicker I found more pleasing. You're having some great luck in your back yard!
