    Canon 50D~500mm f/4L~AV mode~f/8~1/2000~ISO 320...tripod/no flash

    Backyard bird garden and I left the beak "dirty" because well...it's a woodpecker that pecks wood.

    I love this image. The exposure seems spot on, giving great detail on both the black and white feathers.
    I also like the composition and pose of the bird.

    The exposure is indeed spot on. I love _everything_ about this image including the dirty beak.
