    Default Daisy Over Easy

Went to work on a handful of daisies today...had 2 extension tubes on with the macro lens when I created this image. It reminds me of an over easy egg with the center ready to make a run for a nice piece of toast. ;)

    Canon 40D, EF 100mm f2.8 macro & 2 Kenko extension tubes
    f6.3 @ 1/50th, ISO 400
Manual mode, pattern metering, natural light + fill flash @ -1.
Processed in ACR & CS4; small crop, levels adjustment, screen layer to bring up whites, sharpening.

Creative composition as usual, Jules. Was your fill flash mounted or off camera?

Thanks, Julie...and good question! It was the little pop up flash on the Canon 40D...that's all I got!

Very nice abstract! The colors are very well rendered and the composition works well too.

Very neatly composed frame Julie. Liked the combo of yellow and white.
Was also wondering if adding a frame (border) to this image would help...

Good idea, Kaushik. I never think of that because I always view them large on a black BG before loading to the web so they always pop with black behind them!

Beautiful yellow and whites. I especially like the white curving edges. I think I might a bit less yellow area? Not sure. :)
