I like the idea, sharpness and BG and would prefer if we could see more of the eye.

Hi Allan: You have a very complimentary BG here. It makes your bird pop. I love the curves of the pose and the awesome feather detail. I would like to see a tad more eye as well.

Very interesting comp. What makes this is the flowing pattern of the feathers and the tiny hint of the eye which provides instant recognition of what we are looking at.

Thanks for the comments. As I said a different shot. More of the eye would have been nice. However, I like the angle I shot at - straight on at the "mess" of red feathers.
