David, looks like the noise reduction softened the picture.
Nice wing position and good light all round the bird. Comp wise, I'd be tempted to take a bit off the top and behind the bird. I didn't see the first post, but bird does look a little soft. Didn't you just need selective NR on the BG?
Selective noise reduction was applied only to BG. Tiff looks plenty sharp, but the jpg may need another round.

David repost much better. Terrific capture with wonderful BG! Congrats!!
The repost looks much better to me too! Lovely image.
David I really like the repost and the flight pose with the forward wing thrust is beautiful. A very pleasing BG and well composed. Thanks for sharing.
Repost looks much better!!

David, much better. I like the repost better.
The repost is a very good improvement, I would only try to get more details in the shadows.
Love the re-post. Head and eye nice and sharp. BG is killer.
Love that sharp repost . The light is lovely !!
As covered above, the repost is very sharp and beautiful. Congrats David!!

Very nice wing positions and BG, sharpness has been fixed in repost. Well done.

nice shot - lovely exposure and pose. I would run another round of slight sharpening for my own tastes...
Very nice David. Simply gorgeous. Love the BG colors and the detail.
