Nice sighting and I like the comp.. The bird looks a little soft and I think it's due to your slow SS. You could have gone with f5.6 and less up on the exp comp. I'd be tempted to clone out that very light branch going straight up just behind the tail.

I like the wide crop, eye contact and BG and would tone tone down the highlights, maybe by taking the midtone slider to 0.9 or so and maybe some more sharpening of the bird.

Nice environmental image. Seems a bit flat. Might try to remove the one bright stick in the lower right corner.
