Shot in the golden glow of a early morning sunrise - choose to leave the colours as they were.

White are on the edge - better in Original - early morning light can still be quite harsh.
    Sharpened and cropped.
Comments welcome. - At full size the eye is a gorgeous red - not sure if that will show at reduced size.
Would have liked a lower shooting angle but as this was shot at a waster treatment plant - I was hesitant to lay in the stuff.

Lovely glow on the whites Lance. Think it would look nicer as a larger post. Love the colours at the top of the frame. DOF looks really good too. Is this much of a crop?

Man, I'm so sorry I sold my sigmonster, but I just couldn't justify it any more.
    Great capture and tack sharp.

Love the intensity of the colors, esp. the pink legs that stand out so dramatically. On my monitor I lose the line between the bird's back and the bg.
    Very nice image.

The early morning light is beautiful on this Stilt, sharp details, gorgeous eye and love those legs. It would make a great print.

Nice image, Lance. Those are some "hot" pink legs! It looks like it is ready to pounce.

Very nice, I really like your composition of this image. I can almost hear it's insistent barking as I view your image. ;)

Yes nice image of a Black-winged Stilt. :) Nice colors, I would also leave them as they are.
