    Default Knifing Anhinga

This Anhinga was knifing through the water at Wakodahatchee in search of dinner. I was intrigued by the wake she created behind her. I felt the effect was more compelling than the bird in this instance.

Hi Milt - different - nothing wrong with that. IMHO - the eye being a little more visible might improve. (Even though the wake is what interests you)
Different - but grows on you :)

agree with seeing more of the eye, but it's different and kinda cool! i might trim a little off the bottom. that will really give it a sense of motion and add even more tension to the image.

Crop off the bottom and top and make it a pano to show motion even more.

Like it as presented. Nice shot. Love the colour of the water.

I think I might have left a little more room in front. Non the less very original composition.

Cormorants are so much fun to watch and you've caught a good one. I like the repost as it focuses on the action.
