    Default Bittern - UK

Managed to get a full image of the very shy/illusive Bittern. He was only in the open for about 60 seconds

I like the walking pose, head angle and the sharpness looks good, too. I might give it a bit more room and maybe a little bit more contrast/saturation?

What a gorgeous bird, Pete! Love the green feet, the raised foot, the distinctive plumage and the reeds in the background. Thanks for posting this one.

Lovely capture. I like that you can see the feet and that one is raised. You have a nice angle on the bird. I think I would select the bird only and give it a few more points of saturation to make it pop a bit more. Agree that a bit more room would work if you have it. Congrats!

Wonderful bird. Agree with the suggestions re: contrast and saturation. I did an s-curve adjustment and + 12 on the sat. Do you like the difference?
