    Bird looks good -- but the background is just too busy for me -- especially the big golden reflection under the bird

    As an image of a gull the background is too busy, as an image of an urban gull I think the gull is too dominant. So, if this is a tight crop you might back out some and give it more space to produce more of an environment shot of the gull in a cityscape?

    Nice and sharp gull but BG is a major distraction here doesn't work for me.
