    Default October symmetry

    Canon 350D, sigma 17-70@17mm, iso 100, speed 1/320, f:11, raw, ACR & PS

    *Question

Here, the picture is different than the one worked for me: less bright, with more noise, less blurred. Like faded slightly. Especially the shine.
Where I wrong? I noticed this in other posts of mine.

Very nice! I like the colours and the reflection. Would it have been possible to step to the left a bit so that the bullrushes weren't in the frame?

Paul, thanks for viziting and comment!
The bullrushes especially are there to break too much symmetry, as a rebel point in that about right symmetry.

    Mihail,

In most circles, the grasses at the right edge would be considered a distraction and an intrusion into the image. I would also suggest cropping from the bottom to just above the leave in the water foreground near the center.

If you do not mind, you could clone that out as well. If you leave the foreground, I would remove the green color cast in the reflection.

I really like the reflection and the high-contrast of the scene. Another alternate crop I would suggest is removing the tree at the left. It is smaller and much different in shape then the others.

All in all a well seen image.

Hi Mihail, Very good suggestions by Robert. If followed they will make the image stronger. I also like the cropping idea of the small tree on the left. Good lighting along with a pleasing overall image...

Thank you very much for the relevant suggestions. I will keep account of them, and I will rebuild this picture. I appreciate this criticism.
Well all, good light for you!

some good advice given Mihail. I also like the high contrast and the colours - and think some recomposing and cropping will enhance this. good job on the reflections!
