    Default Cheetah in the rain

    Hi all,

My last post was of a Cheetah and cub in the midday sunshine, so to contrast here is a Cheetah in the rain.
I found that the animals would move around more often in the cooler temperatures offered when raining.

    Canon 1dMk3. 500mm f4, 1/1000 ISO 800.

    C&C welcome

    Austin,

Another stunner with beautiful subdued light, my only suggestion would be to see if you can lighten the eyes a little.

Nice animal. The colours, the sharpness and the rain makes the photo.
Personaly I would add a little canvas in the bottom and take some of the top.

I like the clean image and the wet look. Instead of more space on top, I would have liked more at the bottom.
It's difficult to get those dark eyes to pop unless light is falling straight on them.

Small nits aside, a lovely clear image in subdued light with the raindrops enhancing this image.

Excellent detail in that wet fur and visible raindrops. I like the space on top as it shows more raindrops. Would also like to see just a tiny bit more light in the eyes. Very nice as posted though.

Outstanding image. The rainy day allowed a nice even lighting. The heads up pose is good.

The rain adds a lot here and the cheetah looks great, maybe just a little more room on the bottom.

Can't add to what others have said, very nice. It is good to see some rain affected photos to show that you can take your cameras out in the weather and come home with "keepers". Well done.

Really like the falling rain. Would like to see the eyes lightened a little.
