    Merritt Island NWR, TItusville, FL created on 12/15/07.

    I would have preferred to have the Egret completely in the green water but I still like the flow of the image and the colors.

    Canon 1D Mark IIn
    840mm (600mm with 1.4xTC)
    1/4 sec, f/5.6, Av, Evaluative, Exp comp: +1 2/3, ISO: 800, Flash exp comp: +3

    Sweet! Wouldn't be hard to move the egret down a little I think, but just the point of the wing touching the white doesn't bother me. Didn't even notice until I read your write up.

    This is going to sound really picky, but I might work on the "steel eye" from the flash.

    You have a point. If I ever decided to do something with this image like print it I would tackle both your suggestions. Thanks for the feedback.
