    The Brant is a goose often mistaken for a duck. I seldom see them here, but did see three of them today (though this one is from earlier). For me they are hard to photograph well -- so dark, and with the white, too. The crop is minimal; I applied NR and USM. C&C, please.

    Hi Wendell, nice colors here and I think you did well with the exposure, the whites in the neck might be a little hot, hard to tell on my monitor. I don't think I've seen (or recognized) a Brandt before so thanks for posting.

    Great HA and eye contact. Exposure wise, IMO looks a little too bright.

    Hi wendell - a tad bright perhaps - I would crop some off the top - will make the angle not appear to be quite so steep.
    Looking forward to seeing more .
