Back at Viera yesterday. Found thid Green Heron who was extremely cooperative. I had many chances and I thought this one might be my best. What do you think?

One of my favorite herons! Sounds like you had fun with him. A nice pose and head angle with good sharpness, Wheeler, though maybe a bit tight in the frame for my taste. The mixed light in the background isn't doing you any favors. You might try toning down the bright areas as they tend to draw my eye from the bird. :)

    Hi Wheeler

I like tight images that show the subject in great detail as well as images that are taken with natural environment. I think this image succeeds in both. True that the green vegetation is a bit bright, however that is exactly as it appears in nature. Works for me... nice job!

The repost is better, anything brighter than the subject always
    is distracting from the subject.

Nicely done, Wheeler. I like the intense pose of the bird and the open beak. You did a good job implementing the suggestions and your rework looks fine!
