Default Blacktailed Deer in the Snow

Hi everyone, here's one from last spring. We occasionally have deer bed down in our back yard. We had an unexpected snow storm last spring but this one didn't seem particularly bothered by it. I cropped a little off the left here. There's a lot of detail in this image so to get it under 200kb I had to save it at a lower quality of 4. Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Nice, natural image and the snow falling just adds to the comp.

Agreed here that it's the falling snow that puts this image above the norm, very nice Nate.

    Hi Nate,

I always think that an extra element, snow or rain, takes an image up a notch. This one is another good example supporting that belief.

I like the head and body position of the deer and how she seems to be covered just a little bit by the BG brush. This one gives me a real sense of cool, wet, quiet woods.
