    Wow. When I opened the thread your image knocked me over. You certainly got close. Good capture.

    It looks a bit too light, but I am working on my laptop so that might not be correct.

    Bob, this Reddish Egret certainly is developing some beautiful colors! I'm amazed at how close you got too. It looks like this is the same bird I know...the guy who has lots of white patches on his wing feathers. One thing I notice is that the eye contact is just not quite there. Just a bit earlier in the day might help with a bit warmer/softer light too.
