    1/400s at f/8, ISO 400

    Something different to perch on. This Black Drongos are now become more familiar with the carcasses and the density is so much there so they tend to give different perches than what we see usually them on.

    Wow, that is a different perch - and quite unusual. Thanks for explaining this species' adaptibility in finding new "perches"! I like the comp, and mottled BG.

    Are these guys scavengers? Would this explain why they would perch on carcasses like this?

    I like the inquisitive pose, and well done on bringing out the darker plumage. Is the "perch" a giraffe tail?
