    I was amazed that this guy perched for as long as he did at Wako for the BPN GT. I'm convinced Fabs had something to do with it.

    Nice perch, pose, and BG. Pointing your lens a bit more to the left (and maybe also down a bit) would have strenghten the comp IMO. Those whites can sure be tough...

    Sounds like you guys had a blast!!

    Good comp and pose, and I like the overall light in this. The KF is nice and sharp too.

    Loving your background. Agree that the comp could be stronger, feels heavy on the left.

    Kingfisher stands out nicely from the background. I am not a fan of that contrasty and busy background. I wonder what a vertical crop on the kingfisher would look like -- it would de-emphasize the background some.

    Really like the composition Michael and the wonderful BG. The whites are tough but you did well to capture this elusive bird out in the open. Congratulations.
