    This Black Dove was taken near my house..

    Hi - soft light has helped you show the iridescence of the feathers in the breast area nicely.
    Could use a little more sharpening on the entire bird and a little to the eye as well.
    Feels a tad tight all around - although guessing you might have been trying to minimize unwanted BG elements.
    Just watch your shutter speed - general rule of thumb to ensure sharpness is 1 over the focal length as a Minimum - so here 1/400th.

    I like that you captured the iridescent color I also like the HA and that you got the full bird.
    I agree that the crop is too tight.

    Fully agree with comments particularly the tightness !! Got a keeper !!! Always like to see colors come out so well !!!

    Lance thanks for the advice. Here is the pic that I already sharpened the body and eye. I used ps cs 4 to edit it. And I also resize the image that won't look tight (imo). what do you think about it?

    Does anyone know where I can find the info about 7d image noise? At what iso that 7d image is so noisy?
