    Default Grey Jay

Its been awhile since my last post, so I though I should post a photo from a recent trip to northern Minnesota. On day one of the trip the Grey Jay's were flying around, but I could get as close as I wanted. Day 2 I had a goal in mind to get a photo of a Grey Jay with its wings wide open. Thanks for looking.

Great landing pose, Derek. I like the wing and tail detail and the symmetry of the bird. I might try a crop removing a little from top and right to decentre the bird a little more. Is that snow in the air?

Thanks Tony. Yes, it was snowing when I took this photo.

Wonderful timing and I agree with Tony's crop suggestion . Love the fanned tail in this image Derek and many thanks for sharing.
