This great White Egret was just landing when I captured this image. I was just preparing to leave Green Cay because of the approaching storm

I like how the storm clouds contrast with the Egret. I bet you are glad you hung in there to the last minute. Great image Judy!

Great an unusual image of a common subject.
I like the feather detail very much, and the
pose, feet barely touching the perch, makes the
    bird look very delicate.

Judy, thanks for risking getting wet and sharing this lovely image. Exposure is perfect and I like the way it is just landing on the tip of the branch. Did it remain on that tiny perch?
    Cheers, Jay

Hi Judy Lynn - You've made a very stiking image with the graceful landing and the gloomy sky. Would make a dramatic print, I think.

Judy, loved the strong composition. The perch leads the eyes towards the bird. Whites look very good. Thx for sharing.
