This image was taken at Merritt Island NWR of a Wood Stork in flight. The original was not a good image, but running it through Polar Coordinates created this abstract.
Modification included, Polar Coordinates, Hue & Saturation and Brightness and Contrast adjustment.
hi Mark i'll tell u how i feel about this image .i feel that is sweet with all the way . It doesnt look like a wood storck to me but i dont care about .. to tell u truth its riminds me like chocolate melting ... good image in my opinion ... well done .
Beautiful abstract, Mark. Is there any way you could get the yellower area closer to the LLC? It has such impact as is but with it in the ROT's position I bet it would really sweep your eye across the screen. Very nice effect!
Kostas sums it up. Chocolate melting. I like that. Very good observation and it would never have occurred to me that way. I like it. Interesting swirl.
Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.
I did try a number of crops to see what would happen, but I personally feel the first crop is the best, as it better shows the BG swirls. I have attached the best of the alternates I tried to show the excess open area on the top and RB. But that's my personal feelings on it. Appreciate yours as well.
I did up the B/C on this one to better show the BG swirl effect.
