    Default Anhinga Trail Sunrise

Taken at anhinga Trail in the Everglades. Not as productive as I would have liked. I'm told the recent Florida cold snap has had a big impact in some areas , this being one. The large amount of fish killed by the cold has attracted a great number of black vultures and they have taken over the area. Some things are beyond our control :(

Very sharp -- I can even see the hook at the tip of the Anhinga's bill. Gorgeous background -- very relaxing and pleasant to look at

I like the comp, and the clouds look amazing. I would render the silhouette a purer black, and perhaps eliminate the three-pronged branch sticking out of the Cormorant's chest (Anhingas have straight bills, not hooked like this one).

I like the composition and light. I agree with Daniel on the ID and the suggestions he made.
