While photographing these famous Japanese macaques I tried to get some images from different perspectives. I went for the theme 'grooming' and tried to capture grooming in different ways. This is one of that series that I liked best....the sky wideangle approach creates a surrealistic view of these two young macaques.

Jasper, I remember I have already given you my compliments for this image once before and I don't mind doing it again. The angle and the one monkey looking up to you really make this a very strong, special and captivating photo.

Excellent Jasper, I love the hands and the look in the eyes and even the spikey hairdo on th ebottom monkey.

Using my IE (internet explorer) window I cropped off the top edge to eliminate the dark corner and it looks even stronger.

Always enjoy seeing pictures of monkeys in a sauna. I like the diffused look of the groomer's fur under the water. But the look on the face of the monkey being groomed and the positioning of the groomer reminds me of an autopsy. Completely different photo if the facing monkey was smiling. Just a "first impression, opinion only critique".
