On my recent India visit , I was observing a flock of Teals and they were quite stationary for a long time. Suddenly one of the bird in the flock took off and one by one all of them started flying away. I concentrated on the second last member of the flock as it was getting off the water surface.

Love how the BG compliments the subject colors. Great observation and action captured. Very nice comp. as well.

Teal really stands out nicely from that gorgeous background. I like the soft blur of the wing to show the action. Colors are gorgeous

Good observation and timing. I like the "hovering" pose. Too bad the body is angled away - it would have been preferable at least parallel to us. I also wish the light had caught the speculum in a better way to fully illuminate it!
