New to BPN

Hello everybody,

I registered back at the beginning of December but finally decided to post. I stumbled upon BPN from another forum and recognize some of the folks here. I've been reading up on "The Art of Bird Photography". I surprisingly received the bundle as a gift for Christmas.
As for me, I've been birding for as long as I can remember. In the last couple years started getting into photography and now I'm hooked. I started out with a Canon XSi and EF 100-400mm but as the list of lenses grew, the need for a second body grew. I now also have the 7D. When I'm not out looking for birds I do some macro. I'm looking forward to posting and learning a few things from everyone.

Just be aware when you type in MS Word then copy and paste the text, somehow you get a lot of tongue poking faces in your post in the conversion from Word into this software. :)

I started birding and bird/wildlife photography just about two years ago and have devoted a lot of time to it since then. I can't seem to get enough. I live just west of Boston, so much of the year I take my pictures wearing heavy gloves.
