I like the setting and the mood. Personally, I would have composed the way you have done if the polar bear on the right were not there. In the present case, more space at the left and less at the right would strengthen the composition. I wish to see these magnificent creatures in the wild someday. Till then, have to manage with your nice images.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice moment captured. Its a bit too centered for my taste.

Not knowing what is on the left, I go with Sabyasachi too, more so as well in that I feel there lies more interesting habitat there too Ken. Very nice either way.

Agree on the centering, but lovely image with the turqoise ice BG and the dripping bear/raised paw. Well done Ken.

Excellent shot, great timing with the one on the left climbing up with the drips of water.

Lovely feel to this one Ken. I agree that a shade off the RHS would help.

Oops in changing this to pano, I forgot to crop the RHS.
The left hand has nothing further.
I think it is worth saying that standing on the bow of an icebreaker, cracking ice, pitching up and down and side to side, along with around 10 others is not always conducive to framing an image, especially when you are hand-holding a 500mm.

Like the pano crop and the way the bear on the left is getting out of the water. Like the surrounding ice as well.
