    Default Textured Acorn

This image is from one of my many shoots with acorns that I did over the fall. I overlaid the B&W image with a wood texture and vignette using hard light blending mode. I then did a little dodging and burning and adjusted the toning using selective color. Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Great texture and feel Christopher. Really has the look of an old photo. Thanks for the workflow.

Beautiful result with the hard light blend mode - I can rarely get that one to not look harsh and fake! The crop seems perfect - not too tight but it doesn't include anything that doesn't need to be there. The repeating pattern in the BG really give the front nut good scale. Really lovely image, Chris! You have become such a pro at toning this past year!

Looks like a very old photograph. I cannot suggest an improvement from me. :)

Great texture work, Chris and I love the dark tones. Great repetition in effect here too.
