    This pair of marmots seemed to be enjoying the weather as they sunned themselves on a rock on Mt. Evens in Colorado.

    Canon MarkII with a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens @ f/11, 1/1000, ISO 320. Cropping and sharpening in PS.

    I really like this Louis. What a cute pose! Nice detail and colors in the granite and the fur. Did you sneak up on them? From my experience it is not that easy to get a shot like this without a big lens.

    Very nice to get a pair together and sweet light to boot. I may ease a bit with the sharpening, especailly in the fur and rock.

    Hi Louis,

    Great to see two together and you have done well with the harsh light. I would have liked to see more space on the LHS ideally.

    Agree with Fabs here, could back off the sharpening a tad with a bit more room on the left if possible.

    I can only agree with the comments allready posted, less sharpness and more room on LHS.
