Taken at Ding Darling NWR on January 19. I thought this was a particularly nice pose. Would appreciate any thoughts, especially on post-processing, which is where I am weakest.

Details: Canon 7D, ISO 400, 500 mm f/4L + 1.4X Canon TC, f/9, 1/1250 sec., aperture priority, pattern metering, no flash.

    Thanks for the help!
    Dennis

Post-processed in LR2, slight crop, very little sharpening. Pretty much as shot.

Very nice pose and EXP control.Good head angle. I'd add room at the top if you have it. Thanks for sharing this one, Dennis :)

Thanks Fabs. I did indeed have much room at the top since this was originally a vertical. How is this?

The repost is much better. A little more room on the left wouldn't hurt either. Nice light, and an excellent exposure on the whites.
