For a change of pace from my usual subjects, but the same old technique.
Today I was wandering around Brazos Bend State Park, doing my usual avian photography stuff, when I ran into a family and one of their young kids had a tiny chihuahua puppy stuffed in his jacket. The puppy was sleepy...

    Nice image and application, Bill.

Seem a little light to me and I would crop it more if it were my image. I have attached a possible revised image, to show the B/C adjustment effect as well as the cropping of both sides and added canvas on the bottom. Just a suggestion however, as ...

    Your image ... Your vision.

But congrats on seeing what others may have missed.

William, I love the original post. The Fractalius work is Fantastic! Maybe a tiny bit of contrast.:)

I actually like both images for the obvious reasons - the top one shows the softer side of the puppy while the second one really has impact!

Awww, such a cute face! :) I like the soft colors and feel of the OP. The filter treatment works well, bringing out the textures of the dog's fur and jacket.

Nice use of the fract filter - subtle but very effective - who could resist this cute little fellow?

Appreciate the comments. I ruled out a closer crop because it does nothing to emphasize the small size of the subject, and actually has the opposite effect. Soft light colors seemed very appropriate as well. regards~Bill
