    Hi Gary!
Love the sharpness and the detail looks great. The trailing foot and splashing water takes it over the top. I might be tempted to crop off the blue at the top and make more of a pano.
    Best,

    Hi Nicki
I thought so at first, it looks great as a large print 13" x 19" than the 1020 by 800 pixels. How's this crop work?

Hi Gary I like the original image: light, wing position and foot splash. I find the cropped version too tight in the frame. I like Niki's suggestion of removing just the blue above the bird but keeping the full width.

Nice take off position, sharpness and exposure are good too. It's a bit tight in the lower right corner, and a bot more space to run into in the left would be nice. TFS

    I like Niki's suggestion too.
Excellent timing of pressing the shutter. The trailing water helps capture the feeling of "push off."
I might clone out a few of the white spots.

Nice launch shot - I would also prefer a bit more room on the bottom but the original width. Nicely shot overall and I like the light.
