    This image was taken a couple of weeks ago at Wako when the trees still had some leaves after the cold snap. ...High ISO and ran it though noise reduction 2 times...

    Hi Michael,
    Beautiful bird - looks almost painterly - and the colours are gorgeous. The BG still looks a little noisy to me - perhaps a touch of gaussian blur would help??

    Michael I like the composition and the fluttered wing feathers in this post. I would have preferred to have the far wing not intersecting the head though.

    Did you boost the saturation or vibrance in this image. The colours on the bird look surreal although I must admit I haven't seen many in full breeding plumage.

    The colours of the bird look fine to me. The BG does look noisy still, and could stand with some more blurring to help separate the bird more too.
