probably didnt stop down as much as i should have, but i think i got away with it!! one from this morning at the South Florida GTG. lots of fun finally meeting fellow BPN'ers and spending time with all of the gang!!!!

D300, 300 f/4 at f/9, 1/5000s, ISO 800. cleaned up the frame edge of a few small branches and one bird in the bottom left corner that wasnt paying rent.:)

thanks for looking. comments and critiques much appreciated.

Nice BG and silhouette Harold. Birds look sharp and I like that each one has a different head angle!

Very cool silhouette, Harold! I would love to see the bottom of the frame as clean as the top and with as much space so the birds were balanced in the 1/3 position on top and bottom. Beautiful orange color really sets off those black birds!

Hi Mr H - love the colours and the Silhouette - has a very oriental feel to it.
Id be tempted to try removing the lower bird entirely even - will change and give a totally differnt image and feel.
    Good show :)

Nice BG colors vs black birds and love the silh effect. As you know composition is all about feel. I might try a cleaner edge on bottom. Like it, maybe some empty space IMO - maybe not - thanks for sharing.
