A very pleasent composition Don with a nice display of the erect pintail. The overcast weather conditions has worked in your favour here producing good diffuse lighting. Exposure, detail and comp all spot on. Well done!!!
Love that tail !
Great job on the exposure and nice sharp detail !
I'd love to get one this nice !
Only things I can think of that might improve on this would be a lower shooting angle
and a body angle that would have allowed the tail to be sharp as well.
Super! I like the pose and details for sure. I wonder if the whole reflection would add to the image.
If you are so inclined, I might get rid of the little bits of stuff in the water. They area really small and don't really detract from the image, but I heard somewhere that it is all about the little things. :D
That is one happy looking duck :)
Very nice pose, I would run some noise reduction on the background.
Nicely done, Don. I really like the pose and color on your subject. Great detail and I like the placement of your subject in the frame.
Nice! I lik ethe composition, low angle, position of the bird, and exposure. The light wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad either. Well done.
