    D90; 80-400 @ 370. ISO 800. f.7.1 @ 1/3200. Matrix metering @ -1.7 EV. HH.

    According to the EXIF, this was taken 21 seconds after the swimming merg I posted yesterday. I know the HA is off, and it appears to me that the AF focused on the water droplets between me and the bird rather than the bird itself. C&C always appreciated.

    I love the peak take off moment and wing position here, water drops do add to the image. Wish the bird was parallel to sensor, and focus seems a bit off as details are coarse but overall nice image. TFS

    I like the running on water and wing position. I agree that it would have been even stronger if the bird were angled toward you and were sharper.
