    Default Chocolate Machine



    Hello first time i post in macro flora here , i have to say that i dont use any special macro lens , but i try to save some money to buy one .
    this is detail from an old chocolate machine .
    crop about 50%, ratare and hi pass filter .

    canon eos 50d
    shutter speed 1/49
    focal length 70mm
    lens aperture 9
    iso speed 800
    metering center weighted average
    lens : EFS IS 18-200

    Hi Kostas You can do a lot without a macro lens, couple of suggestions.

    Get an extension tube which will allow you to focus closer.... can even use more than one. The most common size is the 25mm. Can also use a close up lens that fits over your lens, works well. The main difficulty in using has to do with focusing and specific focusing distance, limited range.

    I like doing these type close ups and have a fair amount of them !!! btw since detail is important using a tripod helps !!!
