It was a pleasure to be at the BPN get together today at Wako and to see a lot of
familiar faces and to put some faces with names as well!

Thanks to James & Blake Shadle, Al & Fabs Forns & Artie for the opportunity.

You nailed that crest!!!! And nice piece of nesting material. I'd try and disconnect the foot from the tree line if it's OK with your p/p ethics.
Silhouette nicely presented and sharp, good techs, on hindsight you could have gone with a lower ISO, but who'd have known he was going to come backlit?

    Remember out list ;)

A treat to see you too!

Lovely, Michael. The action completes this. Could see a sliver off the right side (as viewed).

    Michael,
It was great seeing you again as well.
Full frame - looks like you knew when that bird would be coming in and what size lens you needed to create this image:).
This is a real eye catcher. I love where the horizontal line of tree tops are located, lokking like the GBH is dropping into the recess.

The only thing I see that might improve the image was to have the GBH a little more right in the frame.

Thank for sharing the image I wanted to capture but I has there at the wrong time with the wrong lens - how about a heads up next time.;)
