    Canon 40D with Canon 500m f4 plus 1.44x converter
    Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/640
    Av( Aperture Value ) 7.1
    ISO Speed 400

    Shot in Kruger Park from vehicle using a beanbag. Light wasn't ideal. This was my first bird sighting as I arrived.

    Added some canvas on the bottom. Other than that just curves, colour saturation and sharpen.

    Pretty coloured bird and you got it complete with insect in beak. Looks great.

    Very nice composition, soft light and great action. I may darken the upper part to keep the viewer's eyes where they belong, on your beautiful subject. Congrats!

    Hi Gary, he's showing off his meal nicely, and I like the angle too. lovely curved perch, and well exposed under the circumstances. Great subject for your first sighting.
