    Colin:

I love the display of aerodynamic tech here, with main wings, alular feathers up, tail canted. They are masters of flight.

The look back helps, with good eye contact. Well exposed. Generally flying away poses don't succeed, but this one does for me. Perhaps a bit of lightening under the tail (just a bit)

    Cheers

    Randy

I agree with Randy that this is a rare fly away that works. Great job on this one. Eye contact makes it a keeper.

Hi although a nice image it really doesn't work for me as the bird is flying away even though the head turn gives you some eye contact .

An intriguing image. I do like it as the eye contact connects me to the bird and the wing/tail angles give it a great comp.

Colin the strong head turn would make this a keeper for me despite the fact that the bird was well past you. I also like the wing position and the tail angle. Like Randy I'd suggest lightening the underside of the tail a bit.

Very nicely detailed shot Colin and I like the colours, the backwards glance makes the shot.
