    Ken:

    You have some nice visitors there!
    As you know, the light was well off to your left,which shadowed his left side. More head turn to the right would have reduced the impact of that. He looks well exposed.

    There are 3-4 small dust bunnies in the sky, at top edge of frame, middle.

    Great opportunity, Ken. Good eye contact. Fill flash may have help open up the shaded right side a little. Was there any opportunity to get around to the other side and get the nice breast colours?

    Randy & Tony,
    Unfortunately any attemt to get a better angle was foiledby other trees and the neighbours fence. I missed the "dust" bunnies!

    I posted the same bird a few weeks ago with a better view of the breast feathers but a poor perch!
