This is a view through the window of the Pennyfield Lockhouse located in the C&O Canal National Historical Park. The window was selected and treated with Topaz Detail 2 - Bold Detail while the remainder of the image was processed with CS4 only.

Like your framing Bud, and the light and shadow in the image. Has a nice feel to it.

Very nice composition. I like the perspective and the framing although would have loved to see the left edges not cut.

Hi Bud. I like the painterly look and feel of this. Love the open window, which connects the outside and inside images. Agree with Jackie that it would be nice to see the left corners of the window if you have room top and bottom. Well done!

Thanks to all for your comments. Re the left corners of the window, I had my "back to the wall" literally and was shooting at 17mm - I will have to take my 14mm with me next time I shoot this venue!!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Fabs. I will probably see a copy of the PSA journal on Tues. at the photo club meeting - that is if we do not get another 5 inches of snow and have to postpone our get together!!

Bud, I like the effect applied. I do wish that the window frame wasn't clipped but I understand your shooting conditions.
