    Another Common Goldeneye down at a local park on a little bay near my home.
    This was early mornig light.
    1DMKIII 300/2.8 IS + 2X TC
    1/800s f/6.3 at 600.0mm iso640 -2/3 ec

    Beautifully done, Bonnie. Great detail, exposure, and love the iridescence showing on his head.

    You are very fortunate to have such beautiful ducks over your way Bonnie. You have handled the exposure very well here holding good detail in the whites. The tones, ripples and reflections all come together to make a lovely composition!!

    Very nicely done. Gotta love that punk hair style ;)

    While the image is certainly sharp enough, I wonder if Artie's technique of defining the pupil would give it a little extra.

    Good use of side light, I guess in the park you had no choice of sun angle. Luckily, the bird turned the face to the light.

    Hi, Bonnie! Nice capture! There seems to be a decent amount of noise in the background (and part of the foreground), and I believe there is a shadow/highlight glow around your subject's head that could be removed.
