On my recent vacation with family in Barbados, I was lucky enough to meet up with Eddie Massiah, a local birder.
He only had a few hours on Saturday morning,(His Wife's birthday that night), but he took me to places I'd never have found in a week of looking.
I had wanted to photograph a Grassland Yellow-Finch and had missed this species 3 times before...this time light was right, and for once it stay'd put....

Great light angle and image is holding up well with the big crop. Not sure what more of the perch you have but it may be worth trying a vertical crop with more perch to decentre the bird in the comp. Local knowledge is invaluable:)
Thanks Stephen and Tony...I'll try a vertical crop when I get home tonite...its funny how, even though I try not to centre the bird..it takes someone else to see that I have....lolol..old eyes
